Youth of a nation is a song that inspire's me within. this video has alot of meaning as well as symbol's, photograph's and lyrical content that make's you think. This song is about A younger generation of sticking together threw any possibilities of rasicism, poverty or war. the main singer talks about situations that had happened in his life. he talks about random people who try to fit in and get under the influence of other's. completly diffused is some one else's thoughts. this song means alot to me because i tend to see it everywhere i go.

In The Things They Carried, by Tim O'Brien was an interesting story. Tim O'Brien had a creative way of describing the characters by the objects they carried and how it related to their own personalities as well as physically. One character i found intresting was kiowa because not only did he talk about himself but he described the men that were in combat with him during the veitnam war.
kiowa is an illusive character. he mentioned the war taking place as well as the activities that took place to keep them busy, and gave a visual image of every soldier.
